Robert Ethington is a drummer, primitive keyboardist, and composer. Among his credits, he’s been a member of the ‘80’s New Wave band Unit 5, Tin Huey, and a wide range of projects with Jacob Trombetta. He has also played regularly with Chris Butler, Harvey Gold, Tracey Thomas, and the late Ralph Carney.
His current endeavors include the bands Glenn Lazear, Golems of the Red Planet, and jazz group, the Robert Ethington Quintet.
As a solo artist, he’s made the albums TIC TAC TOC and BLACK COLLAR, both released on the Discrete Spectrum label.
His most recent project is a new album of improvisational compositions, LOST LANGUAGE(S), with the Robert Ethington Quintet.
